Summer 2025 has come to an end at Las Mimosas Ibiza after a season marked by great vibes and authenticity. The summer months have been full of hard work, reunions, joyful encounters and that sense of well-being you breathe in when everything is as it should be: the team, the guests, the hotel energy and, obviously, Ibiza.
Since it reopened its doors last spring, the hotel has once again shown its worth as a space to wind down and follow the beat of the summer fun. Aside from our comfortable suites, the pool and the endless moments of relaxation combined with mouth-watering food from our Italian restaurant, Mimo’s, Las Mimosas Ibiza is also a place for gatherings and enjoyment among guests and day visitors thanks to the activities that have branded this season. Here’s a recap of what went on this summer, with details about some of our workshops, exhibitions and DJ sets that have made the summer so wonderful.
A boutique hotel in San Antonio bay with love for films, music, art and workshops
The summer 2025 event calendar included creative workshops, well-being sessions, outdoor cinema, art exhibitions and our regular Pool Sessions that were the soundtrack to lots of splashing and gliding in the water. Loads of great events to bring together guests, residents and friends, all with the same purpose: enjoy the good summer vibes.
The workshops that filled Las Mimosas with inspiration
The team focused on keeping a dynamic calendar with many proposals. Like the workshops offered by several experts on painting and well-being. Were you at the “Summer Rituals: facial self-care and relaxation” workshop led by Mónica Quintero where we learnt facial routines and relaxation techniques? Or are you using the tote bag you personalised at the “Create your own Tote Bag” workshop which came back this summer after its success in previous seasons? Another beauty self-care workshop was “Autumn Rituals”, which included access to the spa, self-massage, skincare routines and a snack, which made it the ideal closing act for the summer.
Art is also a great summer plan
Once again, Las Mimosas curated exhibitions by artists linked to Ibiza, keeping up its never-ending support of visual art. This season’s exhibitions included “Re-emerge. Looking deep into the sea. Matter painting.” by María García de Leonardo, sponsored by the French brand Perrier Jouët, and The Kings of House and Soul exhibition created by the monochromatic pop-art portrait artist, Davey Brown. Did you get a chance to see their work? You might have even bought some of their pieces as a special, unique souvenir of your holiday in Ibiza...
A summer without outdoor cinema or pool sessions? No way!
You can’t skip some summer traditions during your holidays. Like the classics that come back every year to experience Las Mimosas during the day or night. When the sun was shining bright in the sky, we had our Pool Sessions, which this summer were organised together with Patrón Tequila. If you were with us, you’ll know that there were loads of refreshing Paloma cocktails and the characteristic beats of Balearic Sound music mixed by our resident DJs, like Ryan McDermott, Meister and Paul Dary and Wild Fox.
And every other Friday, once the sun had set, the scent of popcorn filled the air, the projector was turned on and our Cinema Paradiso evenings began at Las Mimosas. A fantastic outdoor cinema plan on our rooftop that we organised with the support of Bombay Saphire this year. “We’re The Millers”, “Marley and Me”, “The Holiday” and “Inside Out 2” were some of the films that sat our guests and visitors opposite our screen under the stars.
Back to scratch: we’re getting ready for summer 2026
Now that Las Mimosas doors has closed its doors for the winter, it's time to thank new and returning guests; the entire team whose professionalism and friendliness have kept the season running smoothly; and collaborators who have taken part in our events and have infused our hotel with life. And while the countdown to the next summer continues, Las Mimosas Ibiza will start to work on getting ready for the 2026 season.
