Our boutique hotel is close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Ibiza, so we encourage you to occasionally get out of our pool to go swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean Sea. By car, motorbike, taxi or bus, you’ll get to these stunning coves in Ibiza in only a few minutes.
Whether you like to put on your goggles and chase fish or prefer to relax in a perfect loop, going from sun lounger to water and back, these beaches on the western coast of Ibiza never disappoint. Especially if you’re a born instagrammer! Find out which are the most stunning beaches near Las Mimosas and add them to your plans for days when you feel like venturing out of our pool.
Cala Bassa
Just over 7km from Las Mimosas Ibiza, you’ll reach this lovely unspoilt cove forming a real natural pool surrounded by woods of pine trees and juniper trees. Don't forget your goggles to spot wildlife hiding in the rocky walls and sun cream, as you’ll want to stay there for hours. It’s one of the most famous beaches in Ibiza, so you’re bound to find lots of other bathers.
Platges de Comte (Cala Conta)
A bit further away, nearly 9km from our hotel, you’ll be able to swim in this beautiful set of coves, in turquoise and bluish waters. This is one of the most photographed beaches in Ibiza, so there’s bound to be a crowd, whatever the time, as it’s also got a fabulous view of the sunset and the islets of s’illa des Bosc and Ses Bledes. It has three restaurants and a small beach bar to spend a fabulous beach day from morning to night.
Cala Tarida
At a similar distance sits this well-know cove on the western coast of Ibiza, made up of two half moons separated by islets cropping up from the shore. You’ll find families and young people, several restaurants –one of them serving traditional fish dishes–, fine sand and an expansive bathing area. Get two for one and visit the neighbouring Cala Molí, just over 3km further on: a quiet beach for fans of snorkelling (avoid it if you don’t like wearing water shoes).
Cala Salada and Cala Saladeta
The western coast of Ibiza is home to many of the most breathtaking coves in Ibiza, such as this group of coves up north from San Antonio, less than 7km from Las Mimosas Ibiza. To get to these two lovely coves in only a few minutes, rent a motorbike for your holidays or get a taxi, as the car park is closed to cars from 10am. You’ll find crystal-clear water, a youthful vibe and a restaurant that specialises in paella.
Cala Gració and Cala Gracioneta
On the other side of Portmany bay, on the outskirts of Sant Antoni, you’ll find this group of coves known for their beautiful landscape. Don’t forget your goggles and book a table at one of the modern beach bars, Gració and Cala Gracioneta, for lunch or a refreshing afternoon cocktail. It’s about 6km from our boutique hotel.
Further away from Las Mimosas, you’ll be able to swim in another two spectacular coves in Ibiza: Cala d´Hort and Cala Jondal. These aren’t as near, but should still make your list of must-sees and they’re less than 17km from our hotel. The first is known for its spectacular view of the impressive and iconic islet of Es Vedrà and its huddle of fishing huts. The second, Cala Jondal, stands out for its uniqueness (the entire beach is covered in pebbles) and its famous restaurants and beach clubs.
If you don’t feel like leaving our boutique hotel in San Antonio bay or if you want to end your day with a dip in the pool, Las Mimosas will be waiting for you with its pleasant garden-patio and Balinese beds, wooden sun loungers, pool bar and Balearic Sound sessions. And for extra pampering, book a session at our spa. So now you know our list of the best coves and beaches near Las Mimosas, have you blocked the dates for your next holidays in our boutique hotel?
